This is one of our go to restaurants, we come here often however we have not had our waitress KATYA in a very long time, and I can't say how much we've missed her, she knew all about my granddaughter's food allergies, not to mention the food is always outstanding. We know now each and every time we come, we will request her to be our waitress. She is very, very personable and funny. Thank you again for another wonderful dinner

Good pizza, a huge menu, and lots of variety to pick from. It wasn't too crowded when we stopped by on a Saturday evening. Like most places off-strip it was mostly locals and a few folks who decided to drive/uber over. We had a big group (~10) and they seated us with no issue. The staff were friendly and quick to help.

My family has been eating at Amore's for many years. The quality is fantastic! Even our out of town family asks to eat here every time they visit. We love the deep dish pizza, thin crust, and just tried the stuffed pizza this visit - it's yummy! Also, don't forget to get a side salad with the house garlic dressing!

If you have a hankering for Italian, this place is for you! I've been to Italy twice and sampled lots and lots of bruschetta, and the best hands down is at this local gem off the strip called Amore Taste of Chicago. Their deep dish pizza is to die for, their wine pours are generous, and service is friendly. The quality of the food is amazing whether dining in or ordering for delivery (I've ordered through Grubhub).

Amore Taste of Chicago (not to be confused with Casa Di Amore) has two locations...this one on Durango and another location in Henderson on Green Valley/Sunset that opened up a few years ago. If you're from Chicagoland, you get how Italian food there has a very localized way of doing things. Anything from Italian Beef to Grilled Sausage (Charcoal grilled if done right - such as at the glorious Johnnie's near the city) , to Chicago Hot Dogs, to Chicago Pizza (whether thick with sauce on top, to thin with cracker crust), Chicago style Italian is just well, different. Does Amore give you the true Chicago experience and replicate the feel of being in the Windy City?? Well-- it's definitely "honorable mention" status but doesn't quite nail the best of the best. I'd offer that while Amore doesn't compete with Gene and Judes, Portillos, Als, Genos, Mr Beef, Johnnie's, Lou Malnati's, etc., it's certainly not bad either and would be a solid B tier choice if it were in the city. Their hot dogs are on point whether dragged through the garden (sport pepper, tomato, celery salt, mustard, onion, relish) or customized (for God sakes just please don't get Ketchup - that's an abomination so don't be a monster haha). Their pizza is, umm, fine. Nothing outstanding but serviceable. Their Italian beef is really good, but you won't confuse it with Portillos. In short, they do everything well, if not amazing. Where they DO stand out is their sizable menu. They have an amazingly large number of choices and everyone should find something they enjoy. Also, portions are typically generous and provide a ton of food. At this particular visit, I had their homemade rigatoni pasta and it was sizeable thick pasta tubes with a great chew. Nothing like homemade pasta btw. You can add the protein of your choice (i.e. Sausage, Chicken, Shrimp, etc.) and I added Sausage... it was super good. Their dining room is huge and if you're a sports fan, it's almost like eating at a dedicated sports book with numerous gigantic TVs lining the top of the cathedral sized walls. One last shout out to their rib dinner special. They have an extremely reasonably priced full rack of ribs with sides for under $25 and if you like baby backs, those are typically excellent. Again, definitely worth the stop if you want some Chicago style Italian in a casual fun environment.

For years, I've wanted to try Amore Taste of Chicago. My husband has eaten here before, but it was my first time, finally, on Friday afternoon, around 2:30 P.M! Amore is located near W Flamingo Road and South Durango Drive. It's in a large plaza with plenty of parking spots! Current hours are from Monday - Thursday: 11:00 A.M - 9:00 P.M Friday - Saturday: 11:00 A.M - 10:00 P.M Sunday: 12:00 P.M - 9:00 P.M As we walked into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a team member and were provided a table. There weren't many customers inside the restaurant when we had arrived. The restaurant is quite spacious, though! There are so many tables to eat at! There are also large TVs scattered throughout the entire restaurant! Most of the TVs were playing sports at the time. We were watching a tennis match! We already knew that we wanted to try out the deep dish from Amore. When the team member provided us menus, we let her know that we immediately wanted a large deep dish, half cheese, and the other half pepperoni and sausage. While that was cooking, we looked over the menu to order something else! Their menu offers a wide range of pizzas, dinner entrees like stuffed shells, cheese ravioli, gnocchi, fettucine alfredo, soups, salads, classic sandwiches like the Italian Beef, Beef and Sausage Combo, Meatball, and so much more! You can even get appetizers like fried onion rings, fried pickles, and fried Raviolis! For desserts, some of the options you can choose from are cannolis, brownie sundaes, ice cream sundae, and a lot more delicious sweets! After looking over their menu, we also ordered their Specialty XL BBQ chicken pizza. The BBQ chicken pizza had BBQ sauce, chicken, red bell peppers, onions, and fresh garlic. This took about 25 minutes to bake! This pizza came out first to our table. The BBQ chicken pizza was so good! This was my favorite pizza of the evening. The thin style pizza crust was cooked perfectly. It was crispy on the edges! There was so much fresh garlic on the pizza. You could taste it, even with the sweet honey bbq sauce as a base! The cheese, bell peppers, and the onions were yummy too! I ended up having about 3 slices of this pizza before the deep dish pizza arrived! When the deep dish pizza arrived at our table, the pizza was already pre-sliced. You could see the oils in the middle of the pizza. This made the center crust really soggy. When I took a bite of the deep dish cheese pizza, you couldn't really taste any of the crust since it was soggy until you got to the middle of the pizza. The marinara sauce was sweet! You could taste all of the tomato flavoring in the sauce. It was really good. We had a lot of pizza leftovers for several days! Warming up the deep dish, we warmed up in the oven for about 30 minutes. This was perfect for the deep dish! For the BBQ chicken pizza, the air fryer worked the best! The service was great at Amore, though! The team members at Amore followed up with us several times, asking if we needed refills on our drinks! The food was pretty good here. The price wasn't too bad either for the 2 pizzas, 1 large and 1 XL! Next time I stop by here, I'll have to try their stuffed pizza!
